Version: My Journal 1
Pros: This program is an excellent program!
I was using "OpenOffice.org" to write a text template, and even after making a template I found it time consuming adding entries for every day.
With this program I am able to simply log in and enter information, pictures, and icons at will. And, I don't have to make a new text document every time I create a new entry every day!
All I have to do is enter what I want to enter, and it is saved and sealed forever!!!

Version: My Journal 1
Pros: It had been such a pleasure working with this program. It is a simple program with simple instructions! There is a cool little feature called "Scratch Pad" which has two uses. Here is what they used to describe it:
"It�s always fun to add this and that to a program, but it is important to have a goal when doing so. The scratch pad is mainly intended to be used by people who have a Tablet PC.
What is a Tablet PC? It is an extremely cool laptop with a screen that rotates 180 degrees and folds down. You can then write on the screen with a stylus. It is very cool!
Anyway, the scratch pad was pretty much designed to allow those with Tablet PC�s to actually write in their journal with their stylus. If you do not have a Tablet PC, and you have a burning desire to draw, you can still draw in the scratch pad with your mouse."
Journal entry is easy and stress free!
If you ever have any questions about it, their HELP file is very easy to understand.
Cons: My ONLY wish is it had a reminder/to-do list which could remind me of upcoming events.
However, I have Outlook for that so really, I couldn't ask for a better Journaling program, and well, COME ON it's free! HOW CAN YOU GO WRONG! I love it!

Pros: Nice features, easy to understand. Good price. ;)
Cons: Doesn't work in Windows 98 or ME. In fact, doesn't even work in 2000 as advertised. I was running XP Pro and had no problems with My Journal, but I upgraded my computer to Windows ME and it will no longer work. :( So I put it in my laptop which is running 2000 Pro and it won't work there either. :( I miss My Journal. :(

Version: My Journal 1
"Application Error - Would Not Install"
Pros: I would like to try this application.
Cons: I downloaded "My Journal 1", exited all other programs, and installed it, but got the following pop-up error window when I attempted to use it:
CoolJournal.exe - Application Error
The application failed to initialize properly (Oxc0000135). Click OK to terminate the application.
I uninstalled "My Journal 1" and deleted its first download, rebooted, downloaded it again, exited all other programs, and installed it again, but got the same error when I attempted to use it. I repeated this process one more time, but it failed again.
My operating system is Windows XP Home Service Pack 2. My Athlon 64 based PC is fully operational, updated, and trouble free. My PC technical expertise is intermediate, and I ordinarily have no trouble downloading and installing programs.

Version: My Journal 1
"functional, no bugs or spyware, and its free!"
Pros: This program functions well for what it is designed for. It has a nice clean layout and design, that is easy to learn. Good things like photo integration, album collections, strong encryption, it preserves authenticity of the moment by preventing back editing a pervious days entry. (a good thing I believe) If you want an easy way to keep a journal and keep it from prying eyes this would be a good program to use. For being free, it is very good.
Cons: The graphic design/layout looks outdated like from win 95/98 era, but it doesn't detract from the functionality or use of the program.
