Magic Button is a simple application aimed at making the Pocket PC more user-friendly. It fills the PDA's taskbar with icons of programs that have been launched, in theory making it simpler to switch back and forth between the word processor, the file manager, and the desktop with a stylus tap and button push. Hardware buttons can be mapped onto the program, allowing users to trigger their function with a tap of the pen. The software installs automatically, as long as ActiveSync is working, and supports the latest Windows Mobile OS. It comes with an optional trial version of the currency and unit converter, MxConverter. With a simple job to do, Magic Button doesn't overwhelm users with features, but with its price tag of zero we would happily recommend it to Pocket PC users hoping to streamline their PDA experience.Publisher's description
From TranCreative Software :Magic Button is a Pocket PC task manager. Located on title bar, it does not cover any standard info, i.e. Sound icon, notification icon. It matches perfectly with the current theme. The program makes close button really close applications. Magic Button provides Task bar with running task icons, activated by tap and hold on the Close/OK button. It hides automatically when you don't need it. Map a hardware button to MB then show or hide task bar with a touch.

"does what it is designed to do"
Pros: helpful task switcher. Its the only way i have found to get to another program while using TomTom. Click the iTask button on my iPaq, then click the Home icon from Magic Button and i get to the today screen. Every other way i have tried just dumps me back to TomTom.
Cons: Not to happy about being on the SD card, in that the autostart does not work.

"The most useful tool for pocket PC"
Pros: 2.5 years I'm using this soft on different pocket PC's and systems and it working very well on all my devices. In general I'm using this tool for switching between several programs.

Pros: It does exactly what is says it does and I find it extremely useful being able to shut down an application at the touch of a button. Also having the icons showing in the title bar allows you to switch easliy between programmes, excellent.

Pros: Great and convenient program. I have been looking for a program like this for a fairly long time. Nice features. Small file size. I recommend this.
