  "Excellente Addressbook with a little extra"

  Pros: I am not always happy with software that require Java to function but there are some exceptions and Kurlo is one of them. It is an excellent, easy to use, well designed and very usefull addressbook that can also send mails directly from the program.

  Not only it is excellent, it is also free, characteristics that not always go together well. If you're looking for a good and reliable Address Book; I think you may find this THE ONE.

  Cons: None.

  Version: Kurlo 1.3

  "It's Okay But .........."

  Pros: I was looking for a stand alone envelope printer so I wouldn't have to open Word to use it's envelope printer and so I could just select an address without having to type it in each time.... This program does this and more

  ! In fact it does everything it claims to do and it's free!

  Cons: BUT..... Unlike the envelope printer built into Microsoft Word this program does not print the "Delivery Point Barcode".

  Version: Kurlo 1.3

  "great little address book"

  Pros: Easy to use address book. Contacts can be added to one or more user-defined groups, especially useful when setting up lists for mailing labels/envelopes.

  Plenty of fields to record family/personal/organisation details for each record, as well as custom fields.

  Cons: Date is currently only shown as MM/DD/YYYY. I understand from the publisher that there will be an option to show date as DD/MM/YYYY in next version.

  Also print option limited to one paper size (8.5" x 11"). An A4 option and selection from the usual Avery label ranges would be really useful.

  Also the hyperlinks to show map locations and route info are directed to USA sites. Not much use for European locations as you get error messages. An option for users to define their favourite on-line sources for these tasks would be wonderful.

  Otherwise a great little program

  "Perfect Portable Address Book!"

  Pros: Wonderful little piece of ingunity. I installed on my flash drive (just under 5MB) and take it with me. Things I loved about this:

  -FREE, no strings

  -Small (under 5MB)

  -No BS (only the basics, but it's more than you'll ever need)

  -"Upcoming Events" You can have Kurlo display (and print) a list of upcoming birthdays/anniversaries.

  -PRINT!!! You can print out your info (and only choose the fields you want displayed) to make your own "emergency number" listing for the kids, or your own personal phonebook.

  "Import/Export Errors ...."

  Pros: Great search tools, birthday reminders, identity linking, custom fields and image link

  Cons: - Can't import/export custom fields

  - Errors Fields for Individual (ICQ AIM EMAIL MSN, ETC) to fix check emilights.com/enlite/reviews/softwares/kurlo-1.3-personal-manager.htm
