Version: JobTabs 2006
"JobTabs 2006 - Great Software!"
Pros: JobTabs 2006 is great software to use if you're in a job search or looking to "keep tabs" on your career. The software really saved me a lot of time compared to what I was doing before - setting up a spreadsheet and trying to record what jobs and companies I applied to. JobTabs also allows me to record important information and keep track of my professional network as well as places I've worked at before. If you're currently job searching, I would strongly recommend that you give this software a try, reading the Help file and learning what the software can do for you. It's well worth the time spent, believe me. I've tried other job searching software and JobTabs was just right. Whereas I found others to be either too general or too convoluted, JobTabs 2006 did exactly what I needed it to do efficiently while keeping a simple straightforward interface. Definitely worth the money, in my opinion. I finally found that job I was looking for and JobTabs 2006 made the process a lot easier.

Version: JobTabs 2006
Pros: JobTabs has been a lifesaver to me. Before using JobTabs I was just applying for jobs with no thought to who I was sending my resume to, and even if it met the requirements of the position. By using JobTabs to track my job hunting activites, and recording the contacts, my resume to interview hit rate has skyrocketed. JobTabs support has also been excellent, they have given me numerous (free!!!) suggestions and critiques on my resume that I am sure have helped me as well. If there was a job hunting book from JobTabs, I would buy that in a heartbeat as well.

Version: JobTabs 2006
Pros: The other reviews do not match my experience and I wonder if they're genuine. I would normally give it 2 *'s but I gave it 1 to offset the possibly bogus reviews.
The best thing about Jobtabs isn't the software itself, but the sample data and tips included in the package. Outside of the example data, Jobtabs simply helps you organize your resumes, postings, and log your activity. It is worth a try if you are challenged in organizing your job seeking data.
Cons: Jobtabs crashes constantly on my PC, especially when trying to save jobs. The built-in browser is limiting, it would be much better to have an explorer or firefox jobtabs plug-in. Central to job searches, a calendar is lacking.
