Version: Intertec StorYBook 2.1.1
"Simple and easy to use book authoring software."
Pros: The authoring process is well organized. Writing elements like characters, strands, threads, plots and locations are well managed. The layout is also simple and easy to learn. Even a newbie will master it in no time.
Cons: There is no backup feature available and you can't export your project to word processor format. The worst thing is, it requires you to uninstall the previous version in order to upgrade it to the newer one.
Summary: This is probably the worst book authoring software I ever used. While the pros part is exactly as I said above, the cons part is worse than worst if I must say. What kind of software that requires you to uninstall the previous version first when upg... read more >>

"Pretty good software for the price"
Pros: I like how it's simple to organize your characters and story ideas.
Cons: The only thing that's bad about this software (at the time of this writing) is that it seems to have some trouble opening back up once it's been installed. I've had to keep reinstalling it just to use it.
Summary: It's a good piece of software. I only hope they can help me fix that little issue so I can continue using it.
