Version: Ignite Expert Edition 3.0.1.3
"Powerful, Easy to Use, Intutitive Interface, Works Great"
Pros: It was super easy to create on-line content using this product after seeing a quick demonstration on the product. I found it very flexible to add new content and make changes after the fact. Adding voice to the presentation such as "how to" or "show me - tell me" was also a cake walk. I have not personally seen a product that does what this can do as quickly and easily as it does it. I have already recommended it to 8 of my friends and several companies. Great tool for sharing subject matter expertise and knowledge with others. I could see a product like this becoming a standard on the users desktop for many uses and applications. Just point and shoot....it really was that easy! I am glad I gave it a try......
Cons: I would have liked to have seen this product also allow you to insert video clips, but then I found out that Scate has an easy upgrade path to the parent product called Ignite Pro Studio that has that feature built in along with many other features. I tried it out as well and it worked great. Pro Studio was also a breeze to work with and it allowed me to pull in everything I created using the expert edition. I would give them both a try and the price was right too.....

"Great help builder and for teaching and demos"
Pros: This is a great product! We have a software company and we need to instruct users in how to use our software. We used to muddle through the complicated help authoring systems until we found Ignite. Now, we use Ignite to create training presentations that show the step-by-step process learning and using our web applications. We're able to very quickly create an outline of what needs to be explained, and then capture a series of steps using the mouse and keyboard. Then, Ignite animates the screens and shows just where to move the mouse to perform the steps. We make the files reachable from the web for customers to learn from. Our users can then watch the presentations to learn exactly what to do when using our software. We even use it in pre-sales mode to demo our products. I highly recommend this software for its ease of use and effectiveness. It's not complicated, you can get up and running really fast.

"Extremely powerful tool and easy to use."
Pros: I am not a programmer or someone that is extemely comfortable with new applications. Ignite is a tool that I can use without having to be a "superuser". It is one of the easiest tools that I have seen.
Cons: It is so inexpensive that I worry people will gloss over it thinking that it won't have the level of sophistication that they need. Don't be fooled, it is a great tool.

Pros: However I am not familiar with multi media tools, Ignite is very easy to use and I can create attractive presentation.
