From Grass Roots Software :

Dazzling face-to-face and Web communications are easy in Freepath. Want to use PowerPoint with all of today's new rich media. Now you can. Freepath gives you a heads-up look at every slide in your PowerPoint presentation and will instantly play all those great files you've previously had to leave behind. QuickTime movies, PDF files, even Microsoft Word and Excel documents are no problem. Freepath has simplified all that hard-to-use, Alt-Tab-like workflow.

Drag your files in. Click 'em. Done. You only have to remember three simple steps: collect your documents and media files into the Freepath playlist. Arrange your documents and media files in any way that makes sense to you. Present your documents and media files in any order you want.

Rich media and interactivity with Adobe Acrobat Connect Pro.

    Version: Freepath Spring 2006

"Great piece of software to enhance your presentations"

    by moores90 on June 28, 2006

Pros: I have already used this program for presentations and the simplicity in setup for presentations along with the many video, image, audio, documents, ppt files, and web presentation abilities make this software a huge addition to make my presentations look even better. Check it out for yourself, you won't be disappointed.

"Awesome program pulls together a wide range of media formats, multiple PPTs"

    by frankc2 on June 26, 2006

Pros: Freepath is a single program that pulls together a wide range of dissimilar formats and sources, and it's simply stunning! Freepath is an excellent program for business folks doing PowerPoint presentations or presentations using any mix of PowerPoint, video, internet, and graphics. It's simplicity of use gives incredible power to presenters in all kinds of presentation situations. Keep multiple PowerPoint presentations open and jump from one slide in one PPT file to another slide in another file with a single click. Move randomly through a PowerPoint when the presentation demands this very non-PowerPoint-ish behavior. Click to show a live website, a video file you produced or downloaded, sound files, and graphic images.

I was a tester for Freepath. Even after lots of use, I still cannot believe how simple it is to use while being so powerful, especially when it comes to displaying smooth video playbacks of a wide range of video formats, "live" internet use, and jumping between multiple PowerPoint files. I learned about Freepath from using their SundayPlus program, and can't wait to see the new version of it that will be built on the Freepath software. I've no connection to the company other than being a VERY satisfied user.

Cons: No DVD playback but it's promised in a future release.

No text overlay, but that's a feature that's coming in their premium software product, SundayPlus 3.

    Version: Freepath Spring 2006

    "It really works"

by MaxConine on June 26, 2006

Pros: From the ease of use (drag and drop interface) to the controlability of all the different kinds of media, Freepath tops them all.

PowerPoint, PDF, WORD, EXCEL, Images, Sounds, video, VR, Flash and Web Pages.

Cons: I would like to see the DVD player. I know it's on the way...

Maybe a MAC version...although it already plays MAC files.
