"Complete time waster"

Pros
Easy install, no added toolbar or other nonsense.
Cons
Ran the scanner, it said the program could reduce the registry by 5%. Let it do its thing, and after a restart the registry size was actually BIGGER!!!
Summary
Program hasn't been updated in over a year now. Don't waste your time downloading this, it doesn't do what it claims.

Instructed me not to use due to a compatibility issue (so I am unable to truly rate this product).
Cons
Unable to use due to a compatibility issue that I was not aware of until after I scanned and clicked on the defrag button.
Summary
It would be better to know compatibility issues prior to downloading. Additionally, 1-click fix would be better. But I like the concept.

I like this software and have used it for years. It is so effective, it gives the numbers of of the hive being compacted (defragged) and will advise you of the % of space saved. It requires a reboot - and you're done!

Great tool I would recommend to anyone, you do have to be patient while it scans and it even says that it is not a good idea to use the computer while the process is taking place. after the scan it will tell you if it needs a compacting and how much space (if you need to do it) you will save by running the defrag. after that completes and you compact the registry the program will say it is finished, you hit an OK button and it instantly restarts so be careful if you were working on anything because you might lose it. overall very compact light weight and simple its best if you get a registry cleaner like ccleaner to help find old registry files so this program can be most effective. using this program may speed up your computer if has been sluggish lately. give it a try!

Doesn't pretend to be a monster app. It has a simple clean interface and it performs it's function well.

I don't get to see what it is doing or make any decisions whether to keep out of dates links.

I don't know how valuable these cleaners are. If you don't know what you are doing it's best to stay away. I have had to reformat my hard drive many times over the years by just hitting clean. It DOES NOT help you by warning what NOT to delete!

USE WITH CAUTION> Read CNET articles on registry cleaners. I just did a complete clean Install due to a Registry cleaner! This WAS MY FAULT. So again--read, read , read...and be careful! BACKUP FREQUENTLY--I Have found ASC Advanced System Care free version to be completely adequate for novice users, like me.
