I have used Fort Knox for several years. Have had virtually no problems related to Internet use. I use AVG as an anti-virus and during this time it has detected virtually no problems either. I use the Internet 6 or more hours a day.
Cons
None, though full service does cost.

Needs more attention from the "Makers" of this product ie. updates and a little more explaining concerning the settings.Has good potential but needs attention and not to just...lay-out-there. as though there is no back-up support behind the program.

This is a pretty-good firewall,but,can leave the user somewhat lost getting the correct setting ect.needs regular update(s) and trial-period makes it somewhat of a failure as most people just don't bother with a 15 day set-up.this program is a good one.But,not the best! Semper-Fi

Simple to use and passes GRC leak test with no open ports to reveal or allow info out.the worst port is 139 as this is the sliding door to all communications.reveal as stealthed.and that is good.
Cons
need a little more info concerning the proper set-up for stealthing mode.

Tried the rest and didn't like any of them. Some couldn't stop traffic, some interfered with Avast!, and some were to complicated or cluttered. FortKnox is none of these. It does exactly what it is supposed to, with no fuss.
Cons
Only that it isn't free. Still, even the limited features of the free version are enough if you've got a goot anti-virus package (such as Avast, which I swear by, or possibly even Avira Antivir).

Effective. Gives explicit notices of threatening activities and requests user decision where appropriate. Allows permitting programs through firewall. Reminiscent of best versions of ZoneAlarm and the German version of the Kerio Personal Firewall.
Cons
None so far.
Summary
I had a great deal of trouble finding a full feature 64-bit firewall. This is it.

I thought the GUI was nice , clean and a joy to use.

I am running a quadcore with 4gb RAM and extremely up-to-date specs and this program crashed my computer several times freezing to a standstill , I uninstalled the program but it left traces that disabled my internet untill i re-installed the un-installed again! I like Spyemergency and i was hoping this program would live up to what i heard.. but unfortunately.. i did not. COMODO is still number one!

Good overview of traffic, good tuning of the firewall

the firewall doesn't complete the leaktest see als on matousec's website, even for home users i will not recommend this firewall, it's unstable and crashes or freeze it self. This is mostly the time when you change application rules or add own rules. Spyware blocking is bad it was very simple to install malware and opening some ports while the firewall must block this. So leak test are important and this firewall is leak privacy is not blocked.

"Smooth Operator"

Because I have just installed this firewall software on a computer with low system resources and memory, it of course has been a hard but good find! I tried the aVast, AVG, etc., all of which I had to uninstall, because they turned out to be complete system hogs. Well, not this one! It installed easily, no annoying false alerts so far, and overall, I think this is the one to keep. Since this computer is only used for bried internet browsing, I feel it's the one! Thanks CNet!
Cons
Interface could have more appeal, but, I guess that's why it runs so well, not all the bulk.
