This useful, but somewhat unintuitive, program can help families manage their budgets, as long as someone in the family is rather computer savvy. The program seems designed by database specialists, judging by the approach to such tasks as customizing filters. Example templates might help solve some of the ease-of-use issues. The reports and statistics are useful, but you will have to do a lot a data entry. Happily, the program now can automatically fill in recurring events such as monthly bills or regular income. On another negative note, the trial version allows only 15 uses, which we consider too few to fully evaluate a utility you are supposed to use for years. Family Funds Tracker Pro seems improved from past versions, but it still could use some work.
