"Calendar Sync for a busy law firm - and excellent tech support"
Version: Exchange GroupCalendar 1.32
Pros
Installed Exchange Group Calendar for a busy law firm in California to sync personal attorney calendars with a public folder - based on categories. Straightfoward and simple. Tech support that OpusFlow advertises is honest and reliable. I received immediate assistance - online and on the phone.
Best feature of this software is the real-time update of sync'd calendar appointments. You don't have to set a timer (i.e. every 5 minutes, every 10 minutes), or use Send-Receive command. When an appointment is created/modified/deleted in the user calendar, it immediately updates the shared public exchange folder.
This product is exactly what I needed to implement for my client.
Exchange Global Calendar also offers many other features that we didn't need for this particular project, but as a consultant for custom Outlook solutions I was very impressed with the options offered. I will definitely recommend this product in the future for other projects.

"Great, easy to install with superb Tech Support"
Version: Exchange GroupCalendar 1.31
Pros
The GC has replaced our very outdated method of a number of users filling in a word doc?! It was extremely easy to follow and install. The question I did ask the Technical Staff (It was early and I hadn't had a coffee and I was being very impatient, bad mood...) was responded to extremely quickly with what I needed and all done with politeness, understanding and professionalism. (Thanks Chris)

"It works great and it's very easy to setup!"
Version: Exchange GroupCalendar 1.31
Pros
The product was very easy to install and setup. I like the way it integrates so easily with Exchange 2003. After I setup all the calendars, it was a couple clicks of the mouse, from a centralized location, and my users were given the appropriate access to the public calendars. For the price, you can't beat this product.

"Does exactly what we were looking for!"
Version: Exchange GroupCalendar 1.31
Pros
We needed something to be able to combine multiple calendars in a single view to be accessible from public folders. This in combination with a Sharepoint Team Services allowing the ability to pull in calendar views from our public folders did exactly what we needed it to do for our client. Now we are able to easily administer individual calendars with the group calendar self populating in realtime. This group calendar is now accessed by our client through Sharepoint.
Cons
In setting up the calendars, it needs to be a little more intuitive, even though it was not too hard to figure out. There are other similiar products out there. Try this one out to see if it suits your particular needs.

"I have tried many. It is the best one, money wise including!"
Version: Exchange GroupCalendar 1.29
Pros
1. Completely Active Directory integrated
2. Expertly built on the COM+ technology
3. No extra steps are required from end users.
4. Easy to install and maintain (the best installation manual I have even seen (but you have to follow it step-by-step)
5. A lot of optional features that will allow you to customize your GroupCalendars the way you want
6. What I value the most is that OpusFlow listens to YOU! They constantly improve their product based on users suggestions making it better and better!
GroupCalendar has completely changed my organization's collaboration practices! No more phone calls asking if such and such is in the office, just a look at the appropriate GC. Everything now is in a personal calendar, and instantly available to everyone in a team, department, physical location, the whole company, too. Even HR adopted GC for time-keeping that turned to be a huge time saver.
Try it, you will not regret it!!!

"Awesome public/group calendar"
Version: Exchange GroupCalendar 1.29
Pros
If you like the functionality of your personal calendar but would like to combine some calendars into one then this product if for you. Just set it and forget it.
This product combines all the calendars that you select into a single group calendar. It appends the users default alias to the front of the item or you can use an alias you define if needed. This new group calendar behaves the same way you personal calendar does. So basically what ever view you like now you will have in the group calendar.
Our staff travels around the country so my boss loves that he can print out the group calendar in a month view, a few months at a time, and can scribble notes and proposed schedule changes before project meetings. He can also see very easily where personel are and what projects are being worked on in a clear manner.
The program itself is very small, non intrusive and it runs as a service.
Even though the company is located in the Netherlands, they where easy to contact via email and phone and quick to respond. They called me back the next morning.
Cons
Nothing really just being nitpicky.
There was a mistake in the admin guide which I had to get support for(they where quick to respond).

"We are really happy with the group calender products"
Version: Exchange GroupCalendar 1.29
Pros
After moving from the outlook version of GC to the exchange version, I really like that now appointments appear in the calender when added in OWA. Support if needed is always prompt and effective
-
"Excellent products, with top of the line service and support."
Version: Exchange GroupCalendar 1.29
Pros
We have used 2 products from OPUSFLOW.
Prior to our company using Exchange, we used "Group Calendar for Outlook". This is a great product for in the office as well as traveling users. We upgraded to The Exchange version as soon as our new server was up and running.
Administrator point of view:
Installation is very easy and very well documented. The online FAQ and tips are a very good source of information not only for GroupCalendar, but also for Outlook in general. Setting up new users takes very little time. You can also set-up group calendars for users of child domains (as long as they are on the same Exchange server).Daily maintenance is nil! No client software to be installed on each workstation. You can create an infinite number of calendars (in our case one for each department). The same user can be a member of multiple calendars. Rights to certain calendars can be modified to allow access/view to only authorized users.
User point of view:
There is no learning curve, either than knowing how to navigate to the public folders. Remote/traveling users, add the group calendars to their "Favorites", and can access them off line. All users have access to group calendars via OWA as well. Keywords can be specified to exclude appointments from the group calendar, or marking an appointment private, will show the time as busy but with no subject.
Support:
Support is excellent. I am located in the US, and in a couple of occasions I emailed questions to the support email address. The average response time as been well within 1 hour.
Conclusion:
Very well designed product, easy to use, install and maintain and at the right price compared to other solutions available on the market. Highly recommended
Cons
Hardly any, just a little tricky to delete appointments from users no longer members of a given group calendar.
-
"Very good product with an excellent after sales care"
Version: Exchange GroupCalendar 1.29
Pros
We have been using this product for more than a year. It is easy to install easy to administrate. It is the answer to our need of having an overall view of availability of people within a group. The reactivity of the company when requesting support or improvements to the programme is very high.
Cons
The capability to filter on the field "show time as" (Out of office, Busy, Free..) is only avialable for the all group calendar folders and cannot be folder based.
-
"That much???"
Version: Exchange GroupCalendar 1.29
Pros
Not much, we run something similar for free at my office
Cons
$1250.00!
