Version: Easy Cash Manager 3.1.2
Pros: I have used this programme for 2 years. It is simple to use and ideal for keeping simple accounts. I have a small home-based business plus a couple of rented properties. Keeping records of incomes and expenses is easy and at the end of the tax year I can select each category and print out the relevant details for my accountant. I tried many programmes before finding this one: none were as straightforward and efficient.
Cons: The initial setting up of columns to suit a particualr need is not very well explained in the help file, but is easily sorted by a little trial and error.

"Excellent Product for all users"
Pros: i downloaded this just to give a trial but now i cant manage without it, it is so simple to use and includes advanced options including vat calculations etc too.
definately recommended
Cons: can have a little better colour combinations

"its greatness lies in its simplicity"
Pros: simple to use.More then sufficcent for home book keeping and small commercial use.Thank you mr moore for providing this great software free.I have downloaded many free and paid book-keepers and this is the best.
Cons: pie charts would have made this greater,but hey what the heck?,its free.

"It has been surprisingly simple to set up and start working with it."
Pros: Simplicity. That's the key of ECM. Just as simple as that. You don't have to know anyhing about accounting... but if you want to, there are many insightful videos and classes that teach you everything you'll ever need to know.

Pros: For free, what more can you ask? I like the simplicity of it, and the fact you can put in your own Categories.
Cons: I would like to see a change in the Category area, to being able to select whether or not one could save them, so as not to have to re-type them in each month. No big deal, but it would make it a bit more user-friendly.
Summary: I think I've said it all in the Pros & Cons. As you see, I've given it a 4 star rating, which, I think, is pretty fair for a freeby!
