"Good calendar for home use"

Pros
Easy to use. The to-do list is nice. It is a very simple calendar, no bells or whistles so it would not be good for reminders.
Cons
I receive error messages when trying to open the calendar or make I select "manage calendar". I oftentimes get errors messages for other things as well. Not real flexible
Summary
Would like reminders and when appointment is over, it would be nice if it would go off the calendar instead of manually having to do it.

"Great basic desktop calendar with pop-up reminders"

I can very easily add meetings, appts, events, reminders, etc, customize when I'm notified, set reoccurring dates, if necessary, and get a pop-up at the bottom of the screen letting me know when something I planned is coming up.
Cons
There's nothing I don't like about it...it covers what I need it to. If you're looking for something more advanced than a basic desktop calendar, you might want to research a bit more.

Looks good and I like how you can set the calendar to be somewhat transparent on the desktop so it doesn't stand out nearly as much. Simple to use.
Cons
If you change the setting (ie the colour) and hit apply, nothing changes. If you hit refresh, no changes... you have to close the program fully and reopen to see the changes. I've yet to see a single thing popup or make a noise.

Programs looks nice but, seems glitchy.

Fits on desktop. Syncs easily with Outlook or Sunbird...
Cons
If I save the file in Outlook, and then click "Refresh" in the iClandar menu, it doesn't update. I have to close it and open it again to get the changes fixed.

It works and does what it promises.
Cons
It leaves a maliscious program that keeps looping itelf when you uninstall. Be prepared to deal with this before you install.

iCalendar Lite is EASY to use; has all the features many of us need for personal use; and it LOOKS GREAT in the bonus.

Hey... it's a free program, so it lacks some features that you'd expect to find in a purchased program.

This is a BASIC APPOINTMENT CALENDAR WITH REMINDERS AND TO-DO LIST, and it serves its purpose with panache.
I've installed it on PC and Laptop, running Windows VIsta Home Premium and WIndows 7 H.P., respectively. It doesn't appear to interefere with anything, or slow things down.
I especiallly like the user-friendly interface, and its several tasteful, well-designed skins. I've downloaded and "tested" many free applications over the years, and I'd put iCalendar Lite very near the top of the list! -

Didn't get a chance to use the software at all because of errors, errors, errors.
Summary
There was an immediate error message every time I opened the calendar. Didn't want to deal with that every time I opened it, so I uninstalled it. After uninstalling, I had infinite error windows popping up upon opening Windows. Did a System Restore right away. Now the software and all those error messages are gone. For good.
