Haven't found any yet because the drawbacks of earlier versions have been made easy to use and understand. One click solutions. Except the pdf conversion to edit. I tried downloading another pdf editor but like Corel; it doesn't stay formatted. But maybe it's me not knowing the details.
Summary
Oh to have had this version when writing books. Simplicity has returned.
My email inviting me to review was incorrect. I tried but could not get WPO and ought to because my WP 10 (disc) that came with my old computer won't work in Win 7. I paid for it but they call it a legacy program and "is incompatible." So if I could I'd have no problem downloading a free version. My review was for WP X5 which they were good enough to extend my "Free trial" another 30 days or 60 in total.

"Best word processing software by far"

ease of use, reveal codes function to eliminate dangling codes that screw up formatting, speed, compatibility with Wintel platform.
Cons
Translation between Wordperfect and Word is still not great. I just dont use Word unless I am forced to.
Summary
I have never understood why Word won the war over Wordperfect.

Wordperfect is great for organizing long documents.
Can save print commands, workspace with document.Cons
Notes function won't work on 64 bit machines.
Code reveal used to be easy; now cluttered.
Documents baffling to work in unless you keep tabs etc visible and keep track of cursor.
I haven't got to the rest of the suite yet. There are more.Summary
Disappointed. II was a long time user of Wordperfect before my agency changed to MS Office. I was looking forward to using it again. Changed my mind. I use "notes" a lot, and was astounded when it didn't work. Corel tech couldn't tell me why, looked into it, then called me to tell me that it was a "known problem" with Win7 and they were working on a fix. Interesting that they had not even informed their tech people about this "known issue". I posed a second inquiry , using the problem code, a couple of weeks lager about when this fix could be expected, and was answered with a list of possible causes for the problem, and this casual addendum: "Note that Lightning [the notes function] does not work on 64 bit OS machines."
Downgrade to one star. See my addendum (in reply mode) for why.
Eh? Their box and promo material clearly says that the Office Suite works in 64 bit OS, including Win7. I can't help but wonder what else they overlooked and can't fix. Not impressed with either WP Office (which is not integrated with the email client Thunderbird, either, BTW) nor am I impressed with Core's handling of the issue.
Sending it back. I was so hoping for an alternative to MS Office for the kinds of things I do.

Pros
I came to the conclusion long ago that Wordperfect when, it is mastered, is a far more powerful office suite than MS Word. Discount of $1 shipping on all orders over $79.
Cons
Don't get me wrong; this is a good product on its own, just that I find Microsoft Office to be slightly more fully featured and obviously more compatible, since most of the world already uses it.

I have been a loyal user of this Office software for nearly 30 years.
Cons
Its price is too expensive, especially since new versions are released one after the other.
Summary
This is an excellent product, but it has become too expensive.
This is the best Offce Software that i have ever used. I am a proud user since 1982 and it is still using it. But Unfortunately the latest version is too expensive for me.
