We're not sure how inherently cool creating bar codes really is, but we do know this application is a snap to understand and use. At launch, Cool Barcode Maker shows you its three basic options. You can create a new bar code, open an existing one, or modify templates. The interface is just as easy to understand, with clearly labeled buttons for most basic actions lining the top. Once you click the bar-code image in the main window, you get options for specifying attributes such as name, format, text type, and layout. The program has about 20 bar-code templates you can use, and each can be seen as you click its title in the menu on the right side. Because of its narrow focus, Cool Barcode Reader won't likely appeal to the masses, but if you need to create and print bar codes for any reason, this app makes it easy as can be.Publisher's description

Supported formats include EAN8, EAN13, ISBN, EAN128A, EAN128B, EAN128C, Code39 (and extended), Code93 (and extended), Code_2_5, Code128A, Code128B, Code128C, MSI, PostNet, Codabar, UPC-A, UPC-E, UPC Supp2, PDF417 2D, and Maxicode 2D. The powerful Datasheet Manager lets you generate sequences data freely, and besides, Cool Barcode Maker also providers import data from Text File, MS Excel, and MS Access MDB database.

Version: Cool Barcode Maker 2.1 build 6.13
"Good program bad purchase process"
Pros: The program es very easy to usa, lots of upc formats, accept excel lists, easy instructions, etc
Cons: When you purchase, they don't give you the registration key right away (I click on the link that says "get registration key") nor reply any of my emails (4 emails). Even they said on the confirmation email after my purchase they would send the key after my credit card was approved, I received a second email saying my card was approved and they would send they key on the next 24 hours.....
