"This is a great all around call and fax center."
Version: CallStation 5.4.0

"Some really nice features but one critical flaw"
Version: CallStation 4.3.1
Pros
This program has some great advanced featurues. I particularly like that you can schedule a primary greeting to come on at certain time like business hours and a secondary greeting to come on at a different time.
The speak & spell features are useful.
The help files show something I have never seen before in a program and that's that it explains in detail how to move it to a new computer, not leaving you stuck having to register again when you get a new computer. Appears to be a reputable author and quality program. And has an uninstall tab if you need to use it.
Cons
There is a major problem that is the reason I cannot use the software and that's that it doesn't support multiple mailboxes. Or if it does, it mentions nothing of it anywhere. So you can't do "Thanks for calling, press 2 for hours and directions, 3 to leave a message for sam, 4 for mary..." etc. It's just one general mailbox for everyone. For some one is all that is needed but not for me.

"Compatibility Problems, Support wont listen to a tech with 20 yrs exp."
Version: CallStation 4.2
Pros
Beautiful product, if it worked reliably.
Cons
Only program on my very up to date system that abnormally terminates at random. Tech support just wants to argue that it must me my system, surely not their software. I've been a computer tech since TI introduced the Z-80 processor and have seen enough compatibility issues to know.

"Can't detect my modem on ThinkPad G40"
Version: CallStation 4.0
Summary
The program looks promising until I tried getting it to work on my G40. Even though I had updated the modem driver to the latest available from IBM website, it wouldn't detect the modem. However, manual dialing appeared to work, but not auto answer. Everytime I tried to exit the program, it kept saying that a call was still in progress - even though I disconnected the phone line. Guess it's not "compatible" to my built-in modem.

"Great Answering Machine"
Version: CallStation 4.0
Summary
GOOD: I have tried dozens of PC answering systems. This is by far I think the best one. Loaded with features. Does everything you want. Actually more features than most people can even use. If you want value, this is like a all in one.
BAD: If you have Call-waiting, this software does not work. It hangs up during a recording if someone calls in. You must disable call waiting.
Bottomline: Buy it if you don't use Call Waiting -
"Good service"
Version: CallStation 4.0

"Solid program, voice is robotic"
Version: CallStation 4.0
Summary
This is a solid program which I am preparing to register for $35. Almost the price of most stand-alone answering machines. It does a lot more than most other traditional answering machines.
