Calgoo is free software that improves your Google Calendar by allowing you to work online / offline and giving you greater control of your appointments and schedules. Calgoo allows you to subscribe and work with more calendars than is practical in Google Calendar. Your calendars and schedules are brought to the desktop where you can easily search, filter and organize them. Work when you are online and offline so you are not restricted to an Internet connection. Work with Google Calendaring sharing so you can collaborate with your friends, colleagues, family and social groups.

Version 0.2 offers user interface overhaul, drag and drop features, support for recurring events.

  Version: Calgoo 0.2

  "Simple & Effective"

  Pros: This is the product I've been waiting for, a quick and simple way to sync (both ways) Google Calendar with desktop apps.

  It's a little lean on features (it's still in beta) but what it does, it does quickly & well.

  And using the ical produced on your hard drive, Calgoo can act as an almost seemless intermediary between Google and other apps (eg. Mozilla Sunbird).

  Cons: No automatic timed sync, no system tray option, no contact list, no email links. Adding the above could make this close to a killer app for Google users.
