Budget Ace simply allows you to enter your paycheck information for each month. You can create categories and budget spendings for each of those categories. The program allows you to copy categories and paycheck information from the previous month so that you don't have to recreate them every month. "Simple budget program!"

Pros
Easy to input expenses. You can make as many different categories as you'd like and name them (rent, groceries, tuition, etc.) Colored graph shows you at a glance how your actual expenses compare to your budgeted amount.
Cons
Not much in the way of instructions, but pretty simple to figure out by clicking around and trying.
Have not figured out if you can see a specific item breakdown by category (though mousing over the spent amount graph will show you the total by category, or clicking details will show you item-by-item of every entry in all categories.)
