From BQE Software :BillQuick Lite makes time tracking and invoicing automatic. The application includes more than 400 reports and invoice templates. Enter time in as few as two keystrokes. The software handles hourly, fixed fee, hourly not to exceed, and recurring contract types, and supports unlimited bill rates per employee or activity. Besides tracking time, BillQuick Lite 2005 also includes project management features allowing you to track your job and engagements accurately. This software is designed for architects, engineers, contractors, accountants, CPA, attorneys, computer consultants, graphics designer, and all other professional consultants. Version 6.0.124 may include unspecified updates, enhancements, or bug fixes.
Note: This is a very large (112MB) file and may take several hours to download via dial-up modem.

"Easy to use, very powerful Free program"
Pros: For my small consulting business BillQuick Lite is everything that I need - time and expense tracking, project management and billing. Lots of good reports to track WIP, Aging, Job Cost, etc. The free Lite version doesn't integrate with Quickbooks so I'm considering purchasing Basic.

Pros: This product would probably be great IF you were an accounting major in college. It certainly has a LOT of options.
Cons: Long download time. Long install time. If you are looking for a basic accounting program to keep track of your client base, vendors, and invoices, this is not the program for you. I uninstalled it within hours of downloading it. This product is serious overkill if you are a very small business. Look for something slimmer and easier to manage.

Version: BillQuick Lite 6.0.124
"Terrific, and YES!!! FREE!!!"
Pros: To get the free BillQuick Lite, you go to their website and fill in a form. When filling in the form, be sure to add your name, company name (very important!), address, and make certain you have an email address they can send your registration to. You'll get a License key which you enter first (click the License button first!), enter the License Key, click OK, then it'll take you back to your Registration Key window. Enter the Registration Key, click OK and you're done. The free version does have some limitations over the full or basic BillQuick versions, but if you're a one person operation, this is more than enough software for you!
Cons: None that I can find so far.
