"Not what it use to be!"
Version: Adobe Reader 10.1.2
Pros
I liked the older verisons, can't get the new ones to work!
Cons
Have been trying to get adobe reader to work on my new windows 7 machine. Downloads okay, will read files already on machine.
When trying to read new files. explorer tells me I must have version 9, which I do. Have been unable to get any help. -
"Bloat-tastic!"
Version: Adobe Reader 10.1.2
Pros
If you dislike free space on your hard drive, this is the solution for you!!!
Cons
>400MB!?!?!? To view a pdf... Although that is with the plug-in. It is ~225MB for the actual application... sooo ~200MB for a plug-in!?!?!? What in gods name do they put in there?
Summary
If you are using a Mac, and you don't need 3D pdf support... move along. This is just more horrible free proprietary software from Adobe. It is unfortunate that 99.9% of people think they need this and Flash.
