Publisher's description
From Advanced Ground Information Systems :AGIS runs on commercial PDAs/Cell Phones and can be installed on Microsoft Mobile PDA phones and PCs and PC tablets using XP or Vista. AGIS automatically provides each participating user free street maps within the United States. The AGIS client commands the AGIS server to notify all other participating members of your group, or persons of common interests, of your location and status. Your symbol is then automatically superimposed on the other group participants maps, while their symbols are, in turn, superimposed on yours. As you move, your AGIS client to evaluate your relative position. Maps that are no longer needed by your handset are discarded. AGIS software provides the user the ability to: Zoom in-and-out and grab the map display area. Call another user by Hooking the other users symbol. Enter symbols including meetings and emergencies. Display range, bearing, heading, speed, signal strength, and GPS status. Use Point-To-Communicate to exchange photos and videos.
