Manage your files efficiently through command-line.
XXCOPY is a boldly extended XCOPY using the same command syntax. It performs file-copy, delete, search and many common file management operations. It can select files and directories by the date, age, and size, as well as the comparison between the source and destination directories. It accepts wildcards in any place and with any number in the source specifier. Its ability to preserve the SFN makes it ideal for volume cloning.
Once you get the command(s) right XXCOPY is a great tool.
Cons
Difficult to master all them switches! The doc needs better / more examples of how to code the commands.
Summary
Worth the effort to wade through all the command requirements to get what you want. I've used if for over two years now, very pleased with it's capabilities.
Works well as a low level file management tool

Pros
Compresses directory hierarchies
Cons
Not the best repository backup or synchronization tool - more granular than that.
Summary
Basically I needed to manipulate and move files and used other tools to check for duplicates. XXCOPY worked great in this capacity.
Overall, it is an exellent program and I recommend it!

Pros
I liked how the program will continue when it can't copy a file. It won't stop like if i were pasting and copying through GUI. I also think its better than xcopy.
Cons
I don't like how it doesn't really provide much information about the files that were not copied. It would be helpful if it did.
Summary
I recommend it to technicians who need to copy data overnight so that it doesn't stop at the first error.
Already the installation scared me off

Pros

Cons
Annoying installation, no GUI,
Summary
Installaion forces user to wait for licence text to display letter by letter, installation path has to be typed manually, installation program is unable to create directories. - I didn't complete the installation since I was scared the software itself might have a quality similar to the installation routine.
