Windows Product Key Viewer/Changer

Used Windows Product Key Viewer/Changer for Windows?

This simple utility may have a complicated name, but it makes retrieving product key information easy as pie. Windows 98, Me, 2000, XP Product Key Code Viewer/XP Key Changer immediately detects your OS version, product key, and ID number with owner information. You can copy the information and save it for future reference. The trial version displays only part of the key and disables the option to change the registered organization and name. It doesn't offer any bells and whistles, either, but chances are you won't miss them. Fire the program up, get your key, and get on with your life.

Cons
Does not work
Summary
Does not work
Loaded with crapware that takes forever to uninstall.
RealDoclockeJune 9, 2013
Pros
None that I know of.
Cons
I truly believe this program installs more shovelware than any other I've tried, and that's a lot. I have no idea if it actually shows the Product Key or not, since it never got to the point of installing the real program.
Summary
Avoid this one; there are lots of others out there that are much better.
Easy to use, no problem

Pros
NONE!!!ITS BOGUS
Cons
The demo is nothing like the actual paid for program. It will find the keys, but all the promises of changing them is bogus. If you look at the FAQ first you will find one line that says it will not change the keys. EVERYWHERE else says it will, and even gives instructions how to do so in the help file. There is no way to contact the seller post sale. Bogus program. Bogus seller. Stay Away. The premise is a good one if it worked. I tried getting back my Word product key and it couldn't retrieve it.
Cons
It didn't do as advertised.
Summary
I didn't have good luck with this product at all. Perhaps someone else had good luck with it.

Cons

Won't do anything for you except link to its website
Mr.PeteMarch 24, 2008
Pros
Pro: nothing
Cons
Con: It says that it is "free to try" but all that will get you is the first box of your product key and then automatically links you to their website so you will by this and other products from them. You don't really get to "try" anything except their website. If all you are trying to do is to get your product key, then download and run Windows Product Key Viewer 1. It is completely free, easy to use, and will get you what you want.
