  Pros

  - Browse and download maps from most map servers (Google, Bing, Yahoo,OpenStreet Maps) - Nice and easy to use GUI (markers and points of interests, find routes and locations) - Combines tiles in one map image - Finds nearest venues from Foursquare

  Cons

  - Still needs some features to make it even better product

  Summary

As far as street maps software goes, Ultimate Maps Downloader is the most comprehensive option for your mapping needs As far as I know, this is the best software on the Internet for map view and download. There is a nice GUI; you can download maps from most of the map servers including Google, Bing, Yahoo and Open Street maps, compare maps side by side and save projects, etc. There is also basic support for Foursquare, markers and POIs, routes and relocations. Downloaded maps can be easily used on iPhone and Android GPS enabled apps (I've tried them on Maverick and OSM for Android).Definitely recommend for everyone interested in offline mapping.
