Paragon ExtFS for Windows is a special utility which allows you to get full access to Ext2/Ext3/Ext4 file system in Windows. With Paragon ExtFS for Windows, you can work with a Linux native file system using Windows. Just plug in your hard disk with ExtFS partitions to your PC and you can instantly modify files on Linux partition. You can import or export files and folders from/to ExtFS partitions.

Causes blue screen for me

I tried copying some files onto ext filesystem, and 3 times in a row the program caused a blue screen on Windows 10 64-bit. I never had problem with blue screens on Windows, neither I had any problems accessing this disk on Linux. That leaves ExtFS to be the cause. Also copying files made a "no system resources left" (translated) dialog pop out a couple of times. Despite the official support Windows 10, the program looks quite old and for more seems not really supported any more, which is quite sad. I hope Paragon will carry on their work on this utility.

I followed the instructions how to install it. This included choosing all defaults. However, it just does not work. The information window says that the two Linux Ext3 partitions (Ubuntu 15.04) I want to mount from my Windows 7 pro, are both mounted but with the same drive letter (D). However, they do not show up and when I try to unmount any of them I get the error message "Cannot unmount". So I am completely stuck...
