Don't worry about things going wrong. MindSoft Utilities XP can back up your Registry and and create restoration points, enabling you to roll back any changes in your system to its previous state. Advanced users will definitely love the numerous features, while novice users will appreciate the detailed Web-based help file.

This multifeatured but slightly unstable utility suite offers a wide array of system tools. MindSoft Utilities XP's stylish interface provides easy access to a memory optimizer, a disk defragmenter and cleaner, a Registry cleaner, a file-security manager, and diagnostic tools for analyzing your system and speeding up your computer and Internet speed.

Our one major complaint was that we received error messages each time we tried a system restore. On a less serious note, the 14-day trial is hardly enough time to try everything this suite has to offer. However, in a way that's a good thing. Users looking to keep their systems in tip-top shape should give MindSoft Utilities XP a good look.

Found 2 ad-ware programs that were self propagating and received errors that some files could not be registered. Overall I will delete all traces and run all my ad-ware removers, spyware detectors and restore my registry

The manual is still on the works ?????? Had version 9.06 they offer me version 9.6 ... which is nowhere ... they send you a PATCH for the upgrade ... and that does not work either. No CUSTOMER SERVICE ... NO TELEPHONE ... NO EMAIL ... TO me this outfit smells like RIPOFF. The Program when used MAKES SOME HORRENDOUS SOUND and there is no obvious way to shut it off. STAY AWAY FROM THIS CRAP !!!!!!!!!!!

It shows what your RAM is doing and how much memory it is taking (but so does CTRL-ALT-DELETE)

I am not only saying this 'optimizer' wont help you, I'm saying almost none of them will help. There is very few programs that will speed up you computer, usually all they do is try to stop programs that take alot of memory (no matter how improtant they are to you), they take more memory as they do nothing for your computer except make it about 1% faster. for what it is worth; If your computer is runnung slow that forces you to download one of t hese programs, it is probably one of two reasongs, one; you have some sort of Spyware, Virus, or Adware on your computer (which is in a different part of this site) . Or you have to big of programs on your computer that it is making it run slow. You can fix that by buying more RAM for your computer, or finding programs that dont take as much memory to run. *or just buy a brand new computer
