  Professional work. This product is comfortable in the use. Dima_R which gives all download managers 1 is absolutelly uncompetent and seems never tries them at all.

• Unique Features & Solid Performance

  Pros

  Excellent -standalone- program with ability to download images _without_ the need for an html reference page(index): meaning it harvests "pics" direct from the source directory. This is accomplished with a "url template" building tool. A [test] button in the template dialog greatly helps shorten the learning curve by allowing user to quickly determine results. "Help" section is quite good, but the power of this "template tool" is really found through practice. Fun to gain experience; it is kind of like "fishing". Program also includes searching functions to find image references in webpages, and many other features(filters, masks, etc.). Though it supports complex image downloading(& finding/filtering) tasks, the interface has a simple, well-thought design, so you are not confused by a jumble of choices. Unlike many "shareware"(and commercial!) programs I have tried, this one runs with few complaints(i.e: bugs & crashes). Author appears committed to updates, so I expect refinements will continue. Note: the "url template" feature was just added December 2004, so maybe this application still ranks as "undiscovered"?

  Cons

  Annoyances are very minor, such as unexpected results when first using certain menu choices or dialog buttons. These are the kind of things that are simple to correct in future updates, providing users make their comments known.
