  easy to download, works great the first time

  downloaded one song from YouTube now it just won't download, did everything its says and same as first time, paste link in and it just 'stops' nothing, wasting my time so removed it from system

  The old Freemake was excellent, could download movies and music and convert, now the new Freemake won't download music unless it in the mp4 format then I use another prog to convert to mp3, need to find a new free program that did what the old Freemake did

  FREE, FREE, FREE.... This software is precisely what it claims to be.... All one need do is insert an artist's name or a YouTube link for that artist and, viola.... It has a simple, yet attractive user interface and, at only 1.2MB, the space it takes up on your hard-drive is almost negligible.

  Cons

  So far, none at all.

  This is simply the best YouTube-to-mp3 conversion tool I've ever used (and I've used many, nearly all downloaded from right here at "cnet").... Makes me glad I had the day off-from-work and, hence, the time necessary to locate and download this gem....<br /><br /><span class='notifyMsg'> Updated </span>on May 8, 2014<p/>.... In my haste to write such a complimentary review, I forgot to mention the obvious download procedures.... When downloading this (or any) software, be sure to "DECLINE" each and every so-called "offer" made by the distributor.... and also be sure to check the box marked "CUSTOMIZE", featured in the final prompt, before download begins.... From here, it's all golden !!!

  If you want software for anything about multimedia - trust in freemake-software. It's a very, very good choice. Mostly, it's faster than alternate software and it outputs a higher quality than other software of this type. The interface is very pretty and userfriendly designed. Also this YT2MP3-downloader/converter (and browser) is just... perfect!

  Pros

  I am a music lover so I have been searching for a tool to extract sound files from YouTube videos, But the 3 or 4 I had tried before did not work as they promised; No possible search for files through them, some of them complicated to use and worse of all poor quality sound files on all of them. So I was disappointed and skeptical when I tried FreemakeYouTubeToMP3Boom. But fortunately I changed my mind just after a few downloads; search and download music files from videos in just 2 or 3 clicks is very easy, Plus I can hear the music files before downloading them and the best of all quality always is awesome (256 Kbps!) Thanks Freemake people!

  Maybe a little bit more config options and a better looking interface, but not a must anyway.

  If I found a perfect site this year it's definetely freemake.com All the programs proposed on the website are totally awesome. W hen I discovered the company of freemake I finally found the perfect programs for my computer adapted for my needs. Freemake YouTube to MP3 Boom is highly amzazing for all kind of musics. It is a free app with a beautiful design. In fact the app is extremly easy to use. Thank you freemake, I didn't find any other apps like yours

  Cons

  The only problem of this is sometimes it happened that we fall on Bad quality videos. It isn't the fault of Freemake but this has the consequence that we have to download song by ourself without the help of MP3 Boom

  Coudln't find possibility of specific song only downloads from an album, but superfast downloads makes up for it!
