  If there's a song playing on a website, you can't copy the url like Youtube downloaders do

  Tried to download a rarity on a website that used to easily alow it, but doesn't anymore. But this app doesn't recognize the website you're using. So it doesn't quite do the job.

  No crapware with it.

  Cons

  Almost all of the songs don't work (like 9 out 10 in my experience). That's inexcusable. For the ones that do, there's a 128 bit rate maximum and 1 song download at a time for the free version.

  can find almost any song you want. You get many versions of it, maybe 100 so people who fuss about it are just lazy. The support is good, takes only a day. very polite staff.

  Cons

  It doesn't work as well as it did years ago. many times a program cannot be downloaded and I must repeated try again. l try to DOWNLOAD AGAIN with a right click menu. And there's TWO places to download each song. that's NUTS. Remove one of them.

  Summary

  get it. Pay for the $25 version for extra HiFi versions.

• Finds Almost Any Song, but Many are Poor Quality

  It is easy to search for a song using the title or artist. The program will then quickly present a list of songs that match your search criteria. You can click on any song in the list to preview it (sometimes you have to click many times to get it to play).

  Cons

  1. The program is quirky. You may have to click several times to get a song to play, and the download may fail several times. You have to keep restarting it and eventually it will work. 2. The music quality is hit and miss. I don't know how this program works but I can guess. Copyright laws pertain to digital music which never degrades when it is copied. So to avoid those laws I am guessing this program finds music on the internet that is not in a digital format, such as music that is in a youtube video. And this music may or may not meet your standards. Some of it reminds me of when I recorded songs on the radio to a cassette tape. Some of it sounds like I am playing a CD. The only way to know the quality of the music file is to listen to it before you download it.

  Summary

  I purchased the paid version of this program so that I could download music at 320 kbps, however I soon found out that that does not always mean I will get high quality music files. The quality depends on the quality of the file on the internet. You may have to preview several songs until you find one that sounds good. Downloading at 320 kbps is not going to improve the sound of a bad recording. This program is not for audiophiles. It is for people like me who think of a song and want to download it. And when I search for the song I may also find many other songs I like by the same artist and I download them too. And if I listen to those songs often, then I may decide to buy the CD so that I get the best quality. If you purchase this software thinking you will never have to pay for another mp3 song again, you may be disappointed.

  does what it is supposed to do. preview songs but short lists per page.

  Cons

  slow download speed even at 5 mbps. and can only download 5 songs per day. this is more of a trial version. there is a pro version for 25.00 but at that download slow DL speed. Not me.
