This program appears to be a comprehensive flight-tracking tool, but the demo restriction makes it tough to tell how well it really works. In theory, Flight Explorer Personal Edition lets you track flights over most parts of North America and its surrounding seas in real time. However, since the trial version only offers simulated data, we cannot vouch for how accurate the program is if you subscribe. Most of the main interface is dedicated to a map of the United States, with a multitude of icons and tabs surrounding it. Because the program has so many features, its appearance initially can be quite intimidating, though the detailed help files provide some assistance. The application lets you choose what sort of information you want the map to display, including time zones, major cities, special-use airspace, and airports. You'll also find a number of preset themes, which show data such as all American Airlines flights or all aircraft approaching O'Hare. Of course, you can simply choose to view all flights currently in the air, either via a table or by a graphical representation. All told, we'd like to be more positive about Flight Explorer Personal Edition, but since the demo hobbles much of its functionality, we don't feel comfortable highly recommending it.

good but could use a few extras...

Pros
specific commercial or GA flight , If there is a flight plan its in the system. the ability to sort aircraft by color and type very usefull. control to manipulate these options are somewhat cumbersome but the help files proved most useful.
Cons
not too much bad to say about this from my point of veiw except i did go through my 10 hrs for the month rather quickly as i logged on several times per day.
Summary
if you are a serious pilot , own a flight service or company and want to keep track of a few aircraft or if this is a hobby for you as it is for me, then this is the product for you. the tech support is very good and the folks at sabre are very helpfull in squashing out what ever problems you may have no matter what side of the aviation curve you may be on. The pilot edtion adds a few nice features TFR,NWS,weather overlays.. this version should have the dynamic weather function as well. there should also be another way to strech out the time frame block on the hours for those of of us that maybe dont need to sit in front of this all day but have the need to log on and off several times during any given day..
