Boost PC Responsiveness During High CPU Loads. Reduce lags and restore responsiveness by taming background processes with Bitsum's famous ProBalance algorithm. Our ProBalance algorithm has long been present only in Process Lasso, but is offered in CPUBalance independent of Process Lasso. Note that it can be installed along-side Process Lasso and run fine.

ProBalance is an amazing, proven technology that can actually be demonstrated in both real-world and synthetic scenarios, as we have done with our CPUEater application, or as can be seen when transcoding multimedia with software like Sony Vegas. Since ProBalance is conservative and has an 'ignore foreground process' exclusion by default, you may need to click away from an offender, but ProBalance *will* tame an offender. The amazing thing is how little it takes to be an offender of overall PC responsiveness, something we also are able to measure using a proprietary algorithm found nowhere else.

By default ProBalance is conservative and makes only the most marginal of adjustments. However, you can tweak it to behave as you desire.
