Try out Rutan's SKIGULL with adjustable CG! . This is an amazing model and with the adjustable CG and Gross Wt. you can find your sweet spot. As is it will takeoff; but, you need to set the sticky elevator and be ready to go for more forward CG (drag CG down) and apply down elevator.

Joysticks are MODE 2:
Throttle and Rudder on the Left joystick + Elevator and Ailerons on the right
Joysticks: avoid "over controlling" the airplane. Note full throw turns joystick red.
As only control surface joysticks "snap back" to center the joystick are asymmetric. The Throttle does NOT snap back or you would go to half throttle every time you let go of the joysticks! At full throttle the joysticks (thumbs) are symmetric and at about the same position on the screen. (thanks Wilson...) Of course the "Sticky Elevator" causes the elevator to stay were you put it like throttle.
Click Fly Approach, cut the throttle and see if you can stay in the 3 degree glide slope box all the way down. Keep your speed up as there are sand dunes at the end of the runway! Trim with sticky elevator and make course corrections using only rudder.
Click Fly Canyon (1, 2 or 3) and I position you at altitude to the left of the runway entering the Grand Canyon park. I've flown through the canyon which is amazingly 1 mile deep. The topography was generated from a satellite gray scale height bitmap and is very accurate except for the smoothing etc.
