It offers all the standard FTP features, as well as support for SSL/TLS, transfer limits, real-time monitoring, virtual directories, and user groups. You can also kick a selected user, monitor selected user activity, and set per-user restrictions for logins, transfer limits and speed limits. Additional features include statistics, support for passive connections and customizable logging.

Version: zFTPServer Suite 2
"That's what you call full-featured"
Pros: This is a professional 2-component FTP Server: Server itself + remote administretion tool (which controls localhost, when you use it on 1 PC) User management and directory management are very logical and precisely configurable. Logging functions, passive transfer config, access control, SSL.
Cons: At the moment I don't miss anything. About the stability. I don't know yet :) Seems to be good though, due tue the 2-component solution.

Version: zFTPServer Suite 2
"This is an amazing ftp server"
Pros: The program is self is very simple and easy to setup. It beats the hell out of IIS ftpserver. I have tried many ftp servers in the past and none come close to this one.
Cons: It works great with Internet Explorer browser but doesn't seem to be so friendly with Mozilla firefox.

"Great idea but has problems!"
Pros: zFTPServer is very flexible and loaded with features
Cons: Lacks a flexible and controllable security panel where the admin can select allowable ciphers for SSL and SSH2. Also the major bug which is explain in the "Botton-line summary"
Summary: I'm facing challenges with my copy of zFTPServer as the auto detect for ASCII and binary still fail to work properly. This causes file corruption when zftpServer does not correctly identify the transfer type. This issue mainly happens with text file... read more >>
