From Kode101 :rTools is a Microsoft Excel based reporting software for Sage ACCPAC ERP like none other. rTools reports on Accpac Modules: General Ledger, Accounts Payable and Receivable, Inventory Control, Purchase Order, Order Entry and Project & Job Costing. All reports are completely auto-generated using powerful, automatic layout and formatting. As you use rTools, your preferences are automatically stored generating more insightful and meaningful reports. During the automatic report generation, rTools uses intelligent data analysis to mine the database for hidden gems of information. rTools does not require you learn a complex new reporting software or to rely on IT staff to build reports. Instead rTools builds the reports for you. Each new report is unique as rTools is constantly adjusting to improve reporting insight. rTools does not use a Lanpak license, instead it connects directly to the database through ODBC. rTools can report on any date range (a day, a week, across fiscal periods).
Version 3.0 features major updates to drilldown reports. Existing reports can now be updated.
