From DIY Datarecovery :iRescue is an easy to use NTFS undelete and file recovery utility for rescuing deleted files (undelete), files lost due to systematic file system damage (unformat), files lost due to file system corruption or files from deleted or otherwise lost volumes (partition recovery). The iRescue trial allows recovery of as many files as you like of any size (batch-mode disabled). Version 3.3.200 improved scanning, enhanced user interface, and fixed some errors.

Version: iRescue [NTFS] 3.3.200
"Only works in limited cases - beware"
Pros: I had an archive drive that died and wanted to recover the data. This program sounded good and after talking on the phone with someone at the company was instructed to purchase the iRescue software for $39.95
Cons: After running the purchased software and seeing it didn't work as described I recontacted company and was told it wouldn't work on my drive given the circumstances (which were the same as when I originally called).
Summary: Product did not work as described. I was charged the $39.95 anyway by the company. Upon reviewing my credit card statement I saw they charged me 2 other unauthorized charges which I am disputing. Not a reputable company and suggest you avoid them at... read more >>
