One of many candidates vying for your cold hard cash by helping you back up the content of your iPod, iPodCopy offers full integration with the 5G iPod, so you can copy not only your music but also your videos from your iPod to your hard drive. Easy-to-find buttons allow you to back up your contacts, notes, and calendar. The layout is similar to iTunes, with a brushed steel look. The buttons, massive compared to everything else in the panel, change from monochrome to color when moused over, making them even easier to use. The trial version is restricted to a 40-file transfer limit, so it's impossible to evaluate how it handles bulk transfers, and occasionally iPodCopy's response time seemed sluggish. Considering that it offers the ability to copy everything on your iPod and not just the music, it's worth the money.

"Trial version worthless. No Support."
Cons: Tried backing up files with trial version. Wouldn't so much as backup three songs in trial, at least that was my understanding. I wouldn't know since they offer zero support for their product. Prompty uninstalled it. Is it possible to find iPod backup software that copies the files of playlists IN THE PLAYLIST ORDER? Haven't found it yet. Copytrans doesn't do it either.
