The assumption behind iMesh is simple: somewhere out there, among the millions of Internet users, there is someone that has what you are looking for.

iMesh makes it easy for you to find that someone and get the file you are looking for. Searches can be conducted either from within the iMesh application or through the iMesh web site, at http://www.imesh.com. iMesh searches only files located on the computers of other members of the iMesh community.

iMesh offers advanced features such as Simultaneous Download - if the same file is found on two different locations, download will be performed from both locations in the same time, making sure you get the file faster. iMesh also offers skins."
