Planning a wedding is tough enough without having to set up a budget spreadsheet, a guest database, and your own seating chart from scratch. Save yourself time and aggravation with iDo Wedding Couple Edition, which includes a bevy of tools to manage your special day, all within a convenient and intuitive Web-style interface.
A friendly home page offers easy links to your wedding checklist, budget, invitation list, RSVP status, vendors, gifts, and events. Once you delve into any specific function, the rest are accessible via "Links" in the left-hand navigation. You can easily adapt the program to your needs, such as tweaking the roles in the wedding party and tracking out-of-towner's flight information. You also can print more than 100 reports on every aspect of your wedding.
Your checklist lets you quickly see which items need attention, and your budget file continuously tracks what percentage of your money you've spent and how. You can import wedding invitees from your Outlook contacts or Excel CSV files. The included help documentation is comprehensive, and an extensive video tour on the Elm Software Web site walks you through almost every facet of the program. Version: iDo Wedding Couple Edition 7.6
"Excellent Product, Great Price, All the features you want!"
Pros: Before purchasing a Wedding Planning Software, I tried every 30-day trial I could find to make sure I had just the right software for my needs. I love the professional look and feel of iDo Wedding Software, as well as the ease of use. The detailed reports are amazing, I can print my entire guest list by name or by invitation at the push of a button!! The seating chart/table layout designer is the best I've ever found. It is completely customizable, with drag-and-drop placement for your guests so you're looking at a miniature version of the actual seating arrangement and can change a guest's seat with ease. There is a section for logging gifts received and thank you's sent, so you don't have to worry about overlooking anyone. The checklists and budget are very easy to use, and also very customizable. I would have to say, this is the most complete Wedding software I have found, and I tried over a dozen before making my purchase. I could not be happier.

Version: iDo Wedding Couple Edition 7.6
Pros: It's great for organising the Big Day... Any Changes are populated throughout the program, so when you finally track down that elusive address, or the last name of the partner of that person you wish you didn't have to invite, one update in the Contacts section changes every instance of that person, from Invites, to RSVPs, to the table plan... A great help!!
Cons: There are still a few bugs - the occassional line exception error that crashed the program (it doesn't matter because EVERYTHING you do is instantly saved to the backup file, so I never lost any data when it crashed). Also very limited in its reporting - I wanted to print a list of guests by Guest Name with their allocated table, but it only let me print by Table... but on the whole a 4/5
