Planning a wedding is tough enough without having to set up a budget spreadsheet, a guest database, and your own seating chart from scratch. Save yourself time and aggravation with iDo Wedding Couple Edition, which includes a bevy of tools to manage your special day, all within a convenient and intuitive Web-style interface.
A friendly home page offers easy links to your wedding checklist, budget, invitation list, RSVP status, vendors, gifts, and events. Once you delve into any specific function, the rest are accessible via "Links" in the left-hand navigation. You can easily adapt the program to your needs, such as tweaking the roles in the wedding party and tracking out-of-towner's flight information. You also can print more than 100 reports on every aspect of your wedding.
Your checklist lets you quickly see which items need attention, and your budget file continuously tracks what percentage of your money you've spent and how. You can import wedding invitees from your Outlook contacts or Excel CSV files. The included help documentation is comprehensive, and an extensive video tour on the Elm Software Web site walks you through almost every facet of the program. From Elm Software :iDo 2005 Wedding Couple Edition is designed to make planning easy for today's bride and groom. iDo 2005's Weblike interface and Links bar allows you to easily navigate to any of the 10 main sections: Contacts, Invitations, RSVPs, Attendees, Gifts, Checklist, Budget, Vendors, Events, and Settings. These sections are listed chronologically according to the wedding-planning process and frequency of usage. In iDo 2005 you will: build your contact list by either manual entry or via import from Microsoft Outlook or a comma delimited file; track invitations, RSVPs, meal selections, and gifts; design a custom seating chart for your reception by dragging and dropping tables and guests; set your own pace using the task checklist; and monitor your expenses against your total wedding budget.
New features in the release include an extended trial time (15 days), a status bar added to the bottom of the application, and a time field added to the event grid.

Summary: I've tried at least 4 other programs and this is the best I found. I would pay the price even for just one use. The only feature I would add is a place to put in flower and decorations in there own category...but you can put that info in the vendor ... read more >>

Summary: Really looks great and easy to use. I especially like the icons and the various tracking systems. I also like that I can manage my budget and print out the information I need. This saves us alot of time by having all our wedding info in one place.
