eggTime is a little countdown timer. It will ask after how many minutes it should warn you and puts a display file on your desktop; the display file name shows you the time left. When the alarm goes off, eggTime can notify you in the following ways: - If a file named "Alarm File" is in the eggTime folder it will be opened. By default it is a system sound file and the Finder will just play it. You can replace it by any file or alias; it will be opened just as if you open it via double click. - If the Alarm File is missing, eggTime will beep three times and if you have speech activated it says "It's time, it's time!" In any case an additional dialog is shown: "Eggs ready!" and the display file on the desktop will be deleted.
What's new in this version:
- eggTime can open any file (a sound file for example) when the alarm goes off.
- Within the last 90 seconds of the alarm time the display file shows seconds and it's Finder label becomes red.
- Smooth workaround for the Finder's "Desktop arranged by name/grid..."-bug.
- Minor changes.
