Publisher's description
From eMule :eMule is a filesharing client which is based on the eDonkey2000 network, but offers more features than the standard eDonkey client, because it's opensource but under the restrictions of the GPL License. Version 0.44d solves a problem with the new icons for Windows 98 users.

Version: eMule 0.44d
"Great P2P Program! Much better than Limewire and Kazaa"
Pros: -the eMule symbol is very cute-looking
-Comprehensive help file
-Pretty straightforward interface, but could use some slight improvements
-searching is very fast. It's as fast as searching on an internet search engine.
-The results have almost no junk at all. Unlike Limewire or Kazaa, that when you search for something you get half the results as useless, eMule seems to have only files that are related to your search.
Overall: eMule is pretty much as reliable as torrents
Cons: - only con I have with this program, which isn't really that big of a con, is that it is set up as priorities. The more you upload, the faster you download. In other words, if you don't upload, then you'll have to wait in a very long line for your download to begin.

Version: eMule 0.44d
Pros: The interface is nice and can be customized to the way you like it to be. I like the statistics page where you can see how much you have downloaded and uploaded.
I have found more files using this P2P compared to others and the search results come up instantly.
Cons: I do get a slow speed, but if the program is left running for a few hours you can download a lot!

Version: eMule 0.44d
Pros: you can often find some really rare stuff on here
Cons: it often takes a "long" time to download something , and even if you have a good download speed going for most of a big file, towards the end, i find it taking another 10 hours to finish, when it says its only got like 15 minutes left, and its 99% done ... if anyone knows why it does that ... please enlighten me.

Version: eMule 0.44d
"The Best, The Original, The Greatest!"
Pros: Over the past decade or so, I've tried ALL available downloading software and networks. E-mule is absolutely the best (not considering the Usenet, of course, which is the best in its own way)!
Cons: None, if you know what you're doing. The rules for extremely successul downloading are: 1. Get High ID (read Help, search the Net about it) 2. Be patient. The longer the E-mule is running the more files and bandwidth are reliesed for your use. 3. Share! Share! Share! If your Incoming folder is empty or has only a few files, don't expect a lot from E-mule. E-mule is smart!

Version: eMule 0.44d
Pros: Although it is only on one network (theoretically on two, but that doesn?t really make a difference) it has of all programs I tried the highest chance to find and to actually download a file. It finds more than the multi network clients mldonkey (morpheus, xolox) and shareaza, and, oddly enough it even finds more files and more sources than native edonkey. Like any donkey client it does not require, but also doesn?t allow user interaction with the upload and download processes.
Cons: emule is probably unusable if you are on dialup. emule is not fast in the beginning. It gets faster later on. It is a program you leave running overnight, not one for quick download of popular files.
