"Device status and bandwidth were very simple and easy."
Pros: Had it running in 30minutes. device status and bandwidth charts.
Cons: Windows only, no linux verson
Summary: all in one easy to use.

"Easy + the port mapping & bandwidth monitoring is cool."
Pros: Easy to install and setup. It mapped all of my ports and the links between devices. Used the bandwidth screen to find my top bandwith users. My network has Cisco routers/switches, windows & Linux servers - they all mapped and displayed status.
Cons: The initial discovery and classification took a little while, worked best on the SNMP enabled devices (I got bandwidth on those). The event log polling took a few minutes to understand and I never found the MIB browser they offer.
Summary: I've checked out a variety of them this week and would recommend this IF you have SNMP. For overall health and status, plus bandwidth monitoring its easier than WUG and Solarwinds. Lots of polling and alerting options, really didnt find a downside e... read more >>
