If you're looking for a flexible, feature-intensive media player, try Zoom Player Standard. The lightweight program works with most Windows operating systems. It will not take over your system and has a configurable onscreen display. The program is written with extensive playlist capabilities, and even supports Unicode filenames. The Media playback mode prevents filter conflicts on all system setups, even those running on a bad install. Zoom Player is the ultimate in freeware. The publisher even provides great support via a linked Web site. The only feature missing is DVD support, which is available in Zoom Player Professional. Pros: Zoomplayer comes with a lot of codecs and allows you to play everything. I highly recomend it.

Pros: Plays more formats, Highly configurable, and has it's own codec downloader.
Cons: Doesn't let me control the volume in audio mode with the keyboard without clicking on it's tray icon first.

Pros: plays almost any videos! Feature is great. Can download skin if you dont like it.
Cons: No visualization feature. But that is just the little downside to this.

Pros: can open virtually any format, isn't this we are looking for?? also, eat little resource of your device, a plus to the great.
Cons: might be a few, but I have not found it.
