From Pointlander :Zink backs up a cell phone's PIM contacts by uploading the contacts to a web server using http or https PUT. The PIM contacts are encoded in a XML format on the web server. The backed up contacts may be reloaded into the cell phone using http or https GET. The backed up contacts can be viewed using a standard web browser. A web server which supports http PUT ( Apache 1.3 ) and a cell phone data plan are required for Zink to operate.
