Icons are the road signs of the computer desktop, helping computer users navigate an often-confusing maze of applications and shortcuts. This program is aimed at helping designers create graceful icons, but it falls short of rivals in several respects. The interface and toolbox look much like the Paint program that is included with Windows, offering only basic tools such as pen, fill, brush, and text, along with a few effects.
The program allows users to convert image files into the ICO format, but can't extract images from executable files as do other programs of this type. On the whole, ZNsoft Icon Maker provides a foundation for making well-designed icons, but lacks the broader feature set most professionals will require.

Pros: Didn't find anything impressive
Cons: AS far as I know an Icon shouldn't be displayed as a full screen image when drawing

Pros: - Drawing icons is nice and easy.
- Good selection of sample icons.
- Easy to get other images into it.
Cons: - It only appears to work with 32x32 pixel icon images. If you want to produce a 16x16 for your "favicon.ico", forget it.
- The default language on install is French. There is an option to select English. It still leaves some items in French but you don't need to be a rocket scientist to workout what its tellin you.

Pros: Frankly, not too much. It has correct GUI.
Cons: It changes my icons, displays wrong color. I'd rather not recommend it.

"Could not possibly be worse."
Cons: The location of your cursor doesn't correspond to the location where your click takes effect. You click on one pixel, but the pixel that changes is the one twenty pixels over, or else no pixel changes at all.
Also, all documentation is in French.
