Yap Yamb (Net+) offers a fun and familiar dice game for your Windows computer. This program's simple setup and fun gameplay resemble the game Yahtzee.

The program's interface isn't anything revolutionary, though its primitive graphics fit the simplicity of the game. While its layout was acceptable, we were disappointed that we needed to consult the brief tutorial in the Help file to learn what combination of keys and mouse clicks were needed to play. We picked it up quickly, though, and within minutes we were virtually shaking our dice and attempting to put together pairs, straights, full houses, and this program's Yahtzee equivalent, the Yap Yamb. The dice displayed well, and our scorecard was easily accessible. Our computer opponent was intelligent and knew how to best pair up the dice for maximum points, which made for a good challenge. The program offered few special features, but its option for playing up to five players added a layer of complexity. While it didn't blow us away with its layout, its play was fun, smooth, and challenging.

Yap Yamb (Net+) is freeware. It comes as a compressed file and installs desktop icons without permission.

Yap Yamb (Net+) (Jamb) is a four column (advanced Yahtzee-like) dice game for 1 to 5 players. You can play it versus remarkable computer player(s). You can customize number of players, type of players, disabled columns and rows, number of dices, additional throw. For non disabled game mode there is statistics. The quality of playing is measured by the average and maximum score. Assumption is that you are familiar with yamb rules.

There is a little help content within a game to help you mostly with keys. You can do your own testing of Yap Yamb. You can choose between English or Croatian language. You can play Yamb offline or on a network (LAN/Internet) over TCP/IP protocol. For example, you can play over network with your friend from other city or even other country.
