Its Location Map system selects destinations that serve as the setting for each search round, while Hidden Object Scenes display densely populated environments with lists of items to identify.

Big City Adventure: San Francisco’s progress through these stages unlocks a collection of mini-games and city-themed rewards. Alongside object-finding tasks, it tracks collectible postcards and souvenir coins tied to specific landmarks, building a record of locations visited throughout the campaign.

Big City Adventure: San Francisco’s Location Map directs travel to places such as Fisherman's Wharf, Lombard Street, Alcatraz, and Golden Gate Park, each represented by a separate search scene. Every destination contains a unique assortment of objects scattered throughout the environment. Unlike many hidden-object titles that focus primarily on fictional settings, the locations here reference actual tourist attractions and historical sites within San Francisco.

Virtual vacation

After completing a search scene, the kid game transitions into the Mini-Game System, which acts as a gate between major stages. Activities include memory matching challenges, jigsaw-style puzzles, and tile-swapping boards. These segments appear repeatedly during progression and vary the structure between hidden object rounds. Their role remains limited to short puzzle interludes, with no larger puzzle campaign or branching mechanics connected to them.

Collectibles are another major component of the Postcard Collection and souvenir coin rewards. Each completed location contributes a postcard containing historical information related to the place.
