From Tradery :With its enhanced features and performance, the new version of the Yahoo Quotes Downloader (YQD) can be used by traders and investors to automate the acquisition of historical quotes for any number of symbol lists. Features include: multiple simultaneous connections for fast downloads, downloading of Nasdaq, NYSE, and Amex symbol lists from Nasdaq.com, retrieving a range or all available data, full download or update, optional split and dividend adjusted data, different bar durations (daily, weekly, monthly), data validation, several data formatting options (US or European date format, bar sorting order), activity and error logging, control over the generated data files structure, command line parameters for fully automated downloads using Windows Scheduler tasks.
Version 2.2.4 removes the 100 symbols limitation and enhances the internal logic for detecting split or dividend events when updating data.

"Excellent quote downloader with clean interface"
Pros: This is a perfect little quote downloader. Easy to use. Super clean interface. You just create a little file with symbols and it downloads away!
Cons: No problems. Perfect for my needs.
