"Easy, Flexible with Interactive and AutoUpdate modes"
Pros: The program easily downloads historical qutes from Yahoo or Google in either interactive on-demand mode or can be scheduled to automatically download them. BUT the biggest Pro for this program is the outstanding technical support.
Cons: While this is a tool for downloading historical data it would be nice if it did real-time data as well being that Google and Yahoo both offer real-time data.
Summary: Sometimes you get far more than you expect from a program and YGQD delivers far more value for FREE than many other programs do that you pay for.

"Quick, Does what it is supposed to."
Pros: It downloads my 74 symbols quickly each day into cvs files. Which are easily converted into excel. I download 2.5 years of data for each symbol daily although I believe It capable of grabbing data well into the 90s.
Cons: Would be nice not to have to convert CSV
Summary: Does what is is supposed to with no mental taxation. Intuitive and easy to use.
There is no such thing as a 20 symbol maximum as alluded to above. -

Pros: It's fast downloading and easy to use for ascii things like QuickBasic or C++ programs
Cons: I couldn't get it to load in Supercharts, I don't have the know-how, I gave up
Summary: I would rather pay $75 and buy MLdownloader which is chart ready and I think this thing has a download limit: 20, not sure. TIme's a wasting.
