"Good looking but slightly high resource use."
Version: Xtorrent 1.1 (53)
Pros
Good looking
Easy to navigate
A good approach to ease downloading torrents for a novice (simply search & download, similar to other general clients, LimeWire etc)
Performs great with a fairly new Mac, preferable with a SSD.Cons
High resource use compared to other torrent clients.
Seems to frequently freeze or crash.
Banned or restricted on some private trackers.
Has to pay for full functionality.
Does not seem to utilize modern torrent protocols like uTP.
Does seems to cause magnetic HDDs to overload frequently when downloading at high speed or multiple torrents.Summary
All in all good for the ease of use & look-savy user, but in general you're better off using another torrent clients

"Not Usable"
Version: Xtorrent 2.1 (v155)
Pros
I understand it's rated OK for those that have it
Cons
Don't know
Summary
I cannot rate Xtorrent 2.0 or 2.1 because I don't have and cant find any of the necessary lower versions needed to use any of the 2* versions

"Expensive and buggy"
Version: Xtorrent 2.0 (v133)
Pros
It looks great. Very nice interface
Cons
Slow. Buggy. Expensive. I don't understand why someone would pay $40 for this when uTorrent and Transmission both are faster, and free.

"Stunning performance..."
Version: Xtorrent 2.0 (v101)
Summary

Anybody who hasn't used this app in Snow Leopard is really missing something. I read that the performance was better on 10.6 but was in no way prepared for just how much better... I got snowed in this weekend and re-installed SL (I had temporarily removed it for technical reasons relating to my job). I am absolutely blown away at how much faster and more responsive the program is. Kudos David! -
"As a Mac app should be, easy to use"
Version: Xtorrent 2.0 (v101)
Summary

I usualy can't be bothered with writing reviews but after seeing all the bad reviews for an app I have been using for ages without a single problem I just had to say something.
True, the developer never responds to emails but there is no need to. I have run XTorrent on various machines with various version of Mac OSX in 3 languages and never had a crash.
Using it is so simple, type in what you are looking for, select what you want to download and click download. Thats it. -
"This developer is a fraud."
Version: Xtorrent 2.0 (v100)
Summary
This review was originally posted on VersionTracker.com.
I purchased the product from the following developers years ago.
It said that I can get life-time upgrade offer. But the serial number worked only a few days and never get any support. He/She became totally silent.
Recently I just found out that my friends just told me exactly same things and that this developer still do the same today.
Product is good but the developer is a clip-artist. I am waiting for Version Tracker's response.
